Sean Cross

Account Manager

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Sean Cross moved with his family to New York as a child, eventually ending up in Philadelphia, where he spent his formative years.

Sean began his career in the U.S. Navy in 1990 after graduating high school. For the first few years, he worked as a shipboard electrician and then became a Culinary Specialist in 1994.  He was stationed in southern California for most of his Naval career, and then worked at the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Sean’s last post was on the USS Essex in Sasebo, Japan. He retired from the Navy in September 2010.

Sean went back to school in 2011 to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in computer electronics at ITT.  After graduating, he worked as a Signalman for Xorail, a position that he thoroughly enjoyed.  While there, a supervisor inspired Sean to go back to school to obtain his degree in Project Management.

In 2014, Sean joined the Critical Alert family. He began his career as an Installer and then once he obtained his Project Management degree, an Associate Project Manager position was created for Sean.

In 2018, Sean was asked if he wanted to move into the account management division at Critical Alert. He welcomed the challenge and feels it was one of the best decisions he’s ever made. Sean feels the camaraderie and team-centered atmosphere at Critical Alert is inspiring.

In his spare time, Sean enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family and watching any Philadelphia sports team. He is a HUGE Eagles fan. Of course, he also roots for all Jamaican teams. Watching action and karate movies are a favorite activity as well as listening to reggae, dancehall, calypso and soca music.
