Stephen Giles
Software Architect
Stephen Giles, a Jacksonville native, graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Computer Science.
He has written code in varied fields, including eCommerce, seafood import/distribution, and medical transcription. He now serves as Software Architect at Critical Alert, having joined the team in 2015. Programming and system design are fun for Stephen, and he loves working with the team and solving problems.
In his spare time, Stephen goes out with his wife, Charleen, for date nights, plays with his 5-year-old daughter, Annabelle, goes to Bible Study, and travels to the mountains whenever he can. As a diehard Jaguars fan, he follows the NFL closely. Stephen also enjoys watching and playing basketball.
You may find Stephen up in the sky for multiple reasons – taking a flight lesson, riding on a scenic aerial tour of St. Augustine, or going hang-gliding. He also likes to cook and is an avid science fiction fan (especially Star Trek).
