Shelly Tarbell

Accountant

Shelly Tarbell was born and raised in northern New York, on the Native American reservation called Akwesasne. She is part Native American and a member of the Mohawk tribe.

In November 2017, Shelly relocated to Jacksonville, Florida to join the Critical Alert family as an Accountant.  In this role, she contributed in updating the month-end close process to be more effective and efficient.  Shelly’s comprehensive knowledge of Sage accounting software enabled her to help her co-workers learn its ins and outs.  She also assisted in the creation of additional financial statements using Sage’s statement designer.

Shelly has been in the accounting field for the past 15 years, mostly within the petroleum industry.  She worked for a few small petroleum companies in northern New York.  Shelly wore many hats at these companies working as a clerk, support manager and assistant controller.

When Shelly is not working, she enjoys taking nature/landscape photography, going to the beach, reading, and supporting her two Maine Coon cats, Scout and Poppet. She also likes going to sporting events and the movies.
